We are migrating to a new platform. That is the issue. Migrating the existing data without loss. We have had quotes in the $1,200 range which is out of the budget. It is being done though and will be newer technology.
We could start all fresh, but then all we have here gets archived in some fashion. Trying to avoid that scenario.

The parts wanted concept is already being done on an unofficial basis. Never been a problem to ask for parts as it is open for anyone to respond ,dealers included. The issue was selling as it may have went up against suppliers livelyhood. As for the members only concept it might not be practicle. I am a participant on the Penton and SOHC4 forums, all these things can be done, member or not.
I'm not familiar with the Person or SOHC4 forums, but I did take a brief ride on a Penton 125 back in '73.
Seems to me I read that the individual involved with membership in the Hodaka Club stated that membership had stagnated. This was a year or two ago. Maybe that's changed
If it's the objective of the Club to keep things going and encourage enthusiasm seems like a good idea to offer a channel for members to help Members with increasingly expensive and hard to get parts.
Maybe this forum isn't the place to do it, but a way to keep the enthusiasm going might be to help Members out like this.
A Hodaka Club member has a part wanted, another member might want to assist.
A forum posting with an unorganized ASK can be buried or obscured from sight from the next dozen posts.
Perhaps this shouldn't be something finesse by the forum, but by the Club itself.
What's the contact for the club to discuss this with?
