If you had a broken part in the motor, wouldn't have been prudent to do a complete tear down and inspection of all parts? That way you would have found the pieces that caused the issue.

Ouch Joe. I'm not looking forward to that experience. I will say there's nothing quite like the sound of a WOT 4-corner seizure on a Road Toad that wasn't oiling because of a stuck banjo bolt. SCRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEAAAAACCH...crickets. Thrown, that is a good object lesson for us all.

Thrown. I did check all of it, just failed to remove the main shaft and spun it to check it. Just not far enough. So that was my biggie. I should have put more time into it inspecting. I could have saved some time. AND DON’T SAY IT ED..... Victor

There isn’t a thumbs up emoji available to us in the forum format. If there was we could use it. I entered one here from my iPhone graphics, but I don’t think the forum software accepts it. It lists it as an unsupported character. Victor

Unsupported character...hmm...I think that's what my teachers called me back in high school.

I put in 3 unsupported characters. A thumbs up, a crying, laffing face & hands clapping. Rhe forum software won’t even allow you to proceed until you remove them! Victor
