Max - this one is a first month build we have guessed by the serial number. It has a proper motor number so it is presumed to be the original. It is not 100% correct as it has later model unshoulderd Combat rims and the later non-flamethrower exhaust. Personally I like the later for rideability as I dislike the shouldered rims on my Yamaha for retaining mud.
We do have a flamethrower exhaust that will be restored and kept for down the road restoration should he want to do that.
Cool you got to unbox these in ATHENA. You may have done this very one!

Gary, kinda vague on my story. I uncrated and claimed the first 95 CW to arrive in Parsons Kansas at Good's Cycle Shop which was the center of the Universe at the time. Before that, my racing teamate and I claimed the first crate of 93 Super Rats one of them being the avatar at the right. What fun times!

Gary! Don’t forget some 50th Anniversary tank badges for that Purdue bike! Victor

I was gonna go with the 50th badges, but it’s my sons project and he wants the correct original style badges.
I may be able to convince him . . .

I totally agree. He has a set on his first Hodaka - the one that was stolen and recovered.

Got the shifter case close enough for government work, so we had to run out for a test today at The Makotosun Top Secret Proving Grounds. Pleased with the outcome so far. Just a few details and this one is a wrap!
