Max/Clarence, is this a Webco sprocket carrier? If so, I guess I have one!

Charlie, looking at the picture of mine, I don't see that extra ring of outer bolts and the inside plate is much larger. Hmm--I don't know what you have there. It appears to be a home built or another brand. I still can't see the other side of mine without a tall ladder, maybe Clarence will have an opinion.

Yep, that looks like mine. I'll look for that stamping when I get the ladder out! Thanks Clarence.

OK, I've been shamed into dusting the short tracker, endangering life and limb. It all began when we started talking about cushioned sprockets and went downhill from there. Finally! A shot from the top side and I got her lookin' good again.
Hmmm---no Webco stamping that I could find.

The Webco stamp is just below the teeth.--------Clarence
Re: chain tightening then loosening
Clarence, I did look very closely and rotated the wheel from my precarious position and still couldn't find any stamping. I think it's the same unit and I did paint the outer plate to look like Unobtainium during the restoration due to corrosion. Just another great mystery!
