So, I was a busy beaver today! All that’s left to do is assemble the shifter back in the side cover! That gets done tomorrow. I’m tired. Victor

It took me a while to find the bag in which I put the shifter parts. Shifter assembly complete now. All greased and ready to mount. I’ll put the shift lever on after mounting chain & cover.

BTW, do you guys just hook up a grease gun & fill the shifter case thru the grease zurk? :ugeek: Victor

Well I mounted the magneto/shifter cover anyway. Even though I’ll have to remove it to mount the chain and set the points. But here’s the motor assembled from the left side! :ugeek: Victor

Looking good victor. You could use some electrical shrink wrap on the wires going to the coil.------Clarence

I was looking for a better front fender mount that I knew I had, but naturally, I couldn’t find it when I was mounting the front fender.

So I found it cleaning up last night, and buffed & polished it today. It is WORTH the effort to change it out! :ugeek: Victor

If you are going to use the old enduro rider "trick" of fully packing the shifter mechanism from the bottom to just below the control shaft - I recommend an artists palette knife and fingers.

Actually I used something almost the same. Finger & a large flat blade screw driver and just packed it all around! Of course I put grease on everything as I assembled it as well! :ugeek: Victor

OK. I reversed the foot peg assembly so it’s on correctly & mounted the motor in place. Also put new shrink wrap on the ignition wires! :ugeek: Victor

Got the air boot on. Didn’t have any more 3” pinch clamps so I just used a 3” hose clamp for now. Ready to mount the exhaust! :ugeek: Victor

You need one more exhaust spring. It goes from the front setting bracket( part # 959169 ) down to the pipe.

The cables clutch and throttle cables are not routed correctly, which can cause cable damage. -----Clarence

Larry, all 4 exhaust springs are mounted. I even cleaned & repainted the springs with high heat engine paint. :ugeek: Victor

Clarence. How are the clutch & throttle cables supposed to be routed? Since I received the bike without them on the bike, I have no reference. :ugeek: Victor
