What is it exactly, and what's missing?

I have a 1972 Hodaka, and, quite frankly, I'm not entirely sure what the heck it is, or what it's missing. I'll try to post an image of it. I think it's a Wombat 125, but I'm not sure. The first picture is of the tag on the front forks with the serial number and date of manufacture, the second is the bike from the rear, and the third is the front of the bike (what's left of it anyways). I already know its missing every bit of the exhaust system but for like, two rusted, bent brackets. Please keep in mind this bike has been sitting out in the weather for about twenty years (I moved recently, which explains the trailer in the background of the third picture) so please make few to no comments about its woeful condition. Thanks to anyone who can help in advance.

You are right in that it is a model 94 Wombat (in fact, from the serial number and production date, I would say a very early one). As far as what is missing, a lot. Just off hand it is missing the following: exhaust pipe and brackets, headlight, taillight, air cleaner assembly, speedometer, most of the wiring, etc. Some of the parts have also been modified, such as the cut down rear fender. In it's present condition, I don't think I would try to start it (besides missing the exhaust) as foreign objects are probably in the engine and could destroy the internals.

Would this Wombat have the dreaded "A" carb?

Frame numbers for the 94 began with C-0001, which would make this the 101st Wombat made. Carb body changed with frame number 1700, so I guess it has the VM2400A carb unless someone changed it. What is missing would be a list probably longer than a list of what is there. Look at the schematic for parts. Whole pages are missing from the bike.

So it depends on what you intend to do with it. If you are looking for a restoration project, you have one. Some have started with less, but you have to want to, and be ready to spend money and time. If this is your goal, congratulations on starting another Hodaka on it way to glory. Here's a shot of what a Wombat looks like when complete...

I will add that I need a set of seat brackets too. At the moment the seat is held on with a chunk of wire around the middle.
