Re: Swingarm Bushing, Bearing Race and Swingarm Install

Post by hodakamax »

Hey Kelly, A good friend showed up this morning with a vintage racing bicycle frame and asked how to get the steering head bearing races out. It looked to be a miniature Hodaka fork head and I told him of your clever video on how to install the races. I told him that I would ask you if you had any clever way to get them out since this can be a problem on Hodakas. The steel frame is to be refinished so heat will not be a problem. Any ideas other than my Fred Flintstone approach?
