Oil ratio

Post by miller »

I'm a new member and just bought my first Hodaka. Any information on brands of oil and at what ratio to mix would be helpful.
The bike is a 1974 Combat Wombat and will be used for light trail riding only. I will be using a leaded non-ethanol fuel if that has
any influence on what oil is recommended. Any suggestions would be appreciated as this is all new to me.

Yamalube 2R mixed 32:1 is a popular choice. There are many good choices...

Yamalube 2R at 32:1 is both highly reliable, reasonably clean burning, and readily available. Honda shops have their own equivalent, but it is hard to beat Yamalube for general use.
