Are you referring to fenders or tanks? Paul sells the Preston Petty fenders on this site and there is a good article on refinishing plastic gas tanks on classiccanam.com :o Richard

You might check out the previous post "Wombat 94A Rims" in December 14. We discussed the painting plastic with Krylon paint for plastic. It wasn't perfect by any means but it does work and seems to be durable. There are some before and after shots. I agree with Richard that new might be the way to go compared to wet sanding and buffing and still not being satisfied. Headlight restoration kits work good on hard plastics but only fair on soft flexible fenders. Good luck on your project! Give us a report if you find any better methods.
