Saving a 93 out of SW Colorado

I am asking for help rescuing a 93 Super Rat in the lower part of SW Colorado (Durango area). Is there anyone there who would be coming anywhere near Montana in the near future that could pick up this bike for me, and store it until then? I thought maybe someone heading this way for Hodaka Days that i could meet along the line somewhere. Would be willing to pay someone fairly to do this for me. Shipping prices are crazy and I am hoping someone can help me out. I am in no hurry as far as when it would get here. Please message me, and we can talk.

Professional motorcycle shippers are crazy high (at least for little project bikes). If you haven't already, try Uship. I've used A LOT of shippers through Uship, met some great folks, and if you are patient, you would not believe how cheap it can be to move a bike.

Pep, thanks for the reply. Actually, that is the first place I have tried and they were like 750.00 maybe I'm being a cheapskate, but that sounded high to me. I'm still looking for a solution, as I have some time.

$750 is nuts. I'd guess a couple hundred would be more on target. Try the auction process, it's always been good to me.

You also might check in with Marks Vintage Swapmeet. Lots of good guys there, including folks that transport full time and on the side. You can post a request hunting a ride...
