If you have done a full Hodaka restoration, you know sometimes you end up with a couple bikes to work from. This is just the case here for a special Model 96 Dirt Squirt.
Here is the donor bike
as nice as it looks as a starter bike it was full of miss match engine parts.
Add donor #2
after a few days of total disassemble this is what we have.
A good set of center cases, cleaned, blasted and ball burnished. This gives a nice durable clean finish.
Parts separated for chrome, zinc and paint .
Evaluate and looking for the correct and best parts to use for the project.
Look for more on what makes this project special in up coming Resonators news letters.

Re: Special Teaser
Brian, this is a project is being done by Greg and Diane Watkins and myself. I'm so lucky to live close enough, well hour and half away. Any chance I get to help on project with them I can't pass up, I have learned so much about Hodaka's and restorations.BrianZ wrote:Looks like you're making some good progress Kelly!

Is that a Preston Petty number plate/tool box? If you aren't going to use it, do you want to sell it?
