COMBAT WOMBAT CLUTCH

Post by SEABEEMIKE »

Hello,
I'm new to this site and was hoping someone may be able to diagnose my clutch issues. I have a model 95 1973 Combat Wombat, the issue is when I pull the clutch in to start the bike in gear the kick start does not engage to kick the motor over it it just goes through the stroke with out the piston moving. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Not sure but it probably does not have primary style kick start and that is normal. Someone with more knowledge on the Combat Wombat will chime in soon. Most of the early bikes did not have primary kick start ability, you had to find nuetral to start.

Terry's right. You gotta be in neutral, clutch lever not pulled, to start a 95.
