does anyone know if the thunder dog came stock with a speedo? thank's Scott

The schematic on Strictly Hodaka site http://www.strictlyhodaka.com/SearchRes ... p?Cat=1852 does not show a speedometer on the 250 ED but does show one on the 250 SL.

The 250ED had an speedometer drive on the front axle, but I think it was there as a spacer. You had to locate a cable and speedometer and install them yourself. Funny because the Preston Petty headlight did not have room for the speedometer behind it. You had to shim the plate out for clearance.

I seem to remember an article in an Australian trail and track magazine showing the t,dog with a speedo which looked like off an ace
It also had the preston petty headlight set up on it as well ..

its funny they don't even show the preston petty number plate in the owners manual a light switch or a wiring harness?but they do list a speedo cable but no speedo drive. So i was looking at speedo brackets it looks like the early 92 part number without the A on the end would b the best choice if I were to put a speedo behind the preston petty number plate.
