Congratulations Laurie! You are amazing!
This event was a test of me and the 94A, neither had raced in over 40 years. The modified 94A was incredible -- great power band/torque -- never complained nor missed a beat!
I had great moments of elation flying down the trails, and a moment of fear flying over the bars in a tank-slapping hi-side.
In the third hour the dehydration/heat/rocks and the 2 previous crashes brought me to a temporary halt. This is where I met Laurie who stopped to console me! After a few minutes rest I rallied to finish with all my personal goals met (can you see me smiling in Eweleen's finish picture? lol)
Great life adventure. Great people!
Again Laurie, thanks for checking on me!

Max,
Sounds like an exercise in positive mental health. (See this month's Resonator) We need to get you a Hodaka shirt!
