Chain guide & sprocket protector rollers

good morning , do the rollers on the chain guard sprocket protectors roll freely or does the chain just slide over them? this i might add is on a 03 wombat . parts 56 and 74

Those bolts go thru 57 & 75 and should allow the nylon rollers to spin around the bolts as long as you don’t over tighten. :ugeek: Victor

thanks victor . that how i saw it too. the bolt has a washer and lock washer , here i go thinking again , with a lock washer you tighten it down , with a lock nut you can tighten it down to allow the rollers to spin ....albert

It appears that the roller has a bushing that is slightly longer than the width of the roller itself. This would allow the roller to spin with the bolt tightened down securely.
