Epic bummer and suggestion
Well, after my big plans to crash 2022 Hodaka Days, I've learned all the hardware used to cobble together my shattered fibula after a crash is all infected and has to come out. That's it for riding for six weeks. I'm so mad about it I can spit nails. I'm coming next year if I have to amputate the thing with a chain saw. I'm also missing my fave hare scramble and two great MX races over the next three weeks. GRRRRRRRR!! Anyway, on a happier note, what would be the possibility of having the wrenching seminars at Hodaka days video recorded and ultimately posted on the club website? I'm so computer illiterate, I'm not even sure I'm asking a realistic question. It would be a great resource for those not able to attend and a great archive of Hodaka-specific information provided by true experts.

Re: Epic bummer and suggestion
Sorry about your difficulties! I thought MDs were exempt from such complications. I’ll see if our “super tech” Stu Gillard can rig up something to record.
I’m disappointed; had hoped to meet you in person. We’re rolling along with preparations. Have had some good support from sponsors, “Mrs Max” (Eweleen Good) has come through again with what I think will be perhaps our best t-shirt design (Combat on military green), new caterer seems on top of her plans, etc. Hard to plan stuff like food; don’t know if we’ll have weak attendance due to virus & gas prices, or big attendance ‘cause folks are eager to get out.
Hope my “Mini Rez” publications were useful at stimulating attendance. We’ll see.
Get better soon!

Sorry to hear this Matt! Get yourself fixed up to ride another day. Hodaka Days 2023 will roll around pretty quickly. See you there.

Prayers for a complete recovery Matt. Sounds like you’re at that not too fun stage. Victor

Thanks fellas. I'm told the removal procedure is only a patch to the going in part and am promised I can start weight bearing in 48 hrs and can begin training again at the six week mark. I can live with that! I'm there in spirit for 2022.

How can it be that the phrase, "epic bummer" is an understatement????

Thanks Captain and Albert. I can still tiddle around on a DS until surgery and the northern Minnesota fire roads are still awesome, so that will have to do for now.
