Hi Hodaka Nation!
I'm rebuilding a model 95 motor. I put new seals in, bolted the cases together and threw the cylinder and head together. I wanted to perform a leak down test before I got very far ... just in case it leaked. Well, I have a big leak.... Seems like the right crank seal is leaking.
Can I perform the leak down test without the right side case on?

Yes.
With the clutch cover off you will be able to tell if the leak is from the seal or from the cases not being air tight.

Thanks Dale!
That's what I thought, but wanted to confirm. I'll try it again.
