I’m going to add a spare voltage regulator to the Wombat I’m finishing up.
My question is, do I remove the rectifier and add the regulator, or used them both? If both where do I connect the regulator? Thx! Victor

Re: Adding Voltage Regulator
Both.
Two seperate circuits and serve two different purposes. The rectifier is the start of the DC circuitry. The regulator is being added to control the AC side. It connects between the green AC lead and ground. Any voltage peaks above 6 volts get shunted off to ground.

Re: Adding Voltage Regulator
I think I figured it out. I attached the regulator to the ignition coil mount bolt with the white wire & unplugged the green wire connector from the ignition & changed the female single to a female double bullet connector. I used the Road Toad wiring diagram as a guide! Victor
