Chaparral 80cc

Are these bikes sought after? Can someone give me some info on this bike. The owner said it was a 4 speed

They are a good little bike. I sold then as well as hodaka and Ossa, back in the day. The only reason I did was because of the engine name, I also sold their snow machines with the same engine name. They were a good item different parts same design allot of others used the same engine. ----------- Clarence

I noticed what looked odd to me. On the left side on top of case cover, looks like a piece of metal added where you see 2 screws ????? Is that stock or added on??

That piece is added. they probably broke the shift case and made that repair. I have never seen that done before. Looks like a ST80 custom paint looks good. -----Clarence

You have to find someone that wants it.
They must have the money.
How far away from them is it, are you in Rome?
If I said its worth $500.00 someone else would say $1200.00??
Look at ebay craigs list, consider what you paid for it, what kind of bargain did you think you got.
How fast do you want to sell it?
condition, chain, sprocket, tires dry rot, shift case and piece of engine could be gone, How is the clutch working?
