78 Wombat 125

Post by chetstefan »

Hello! I am looking for resources to help me out with my 78 wombat. I live in Montana and am having a hard time finding a reliable source for parts (and a mechanic). Let me know if there are any resources mildly close to my area.

Hmmm...that may be a Combat Wombat. At least it has a Combat pipe. Cool. I'm not seeing a '78 model, but it could be a cool bike built on an 03 frame. Still cool.

Chetstefan, You have 2 former Hodaka dealers that are willing to give you some guidance. That is pretty awesome! Your bike looks like an interesting build. I'm guessing it to be a 1973 Combat Wombat frame. Does the frame number begin with D? And it looks to be an Ace 100 motor which would begin with the letter P.

Wow Clarence, the last four digits in your phone number are the same as those of our family homestead. I always knew we had a special connection.

PS- the exchange in our hometown is 266. pretty close there too.
