I have the gearing problems solved.I can cruse at 55-60 MPH. We are having spring like weather in Lodi so I went for a ride.

That is so nifty! Nice looking scooter . . . and it sounds like you are pretty happy with it too.

Very nice Larry. I would loved to have been standing by the side of the road and heard this thing go by at 60mph!

Thanks guys for the kind words. I'm very happy with it.
An odd thing. The wheels are 94 Wombat. It was a nice upgrade with cushion hub and better brakes. When I cleaned the wheels I inspected the wheel bearings. They were nice and smooth so I didn't replace them. With the lockdown I ran out of things to do. I decided to replace the wheel bearings front and rear. The bearings are the only change I made.
With the old bearings I could cruse at 55 mph. The engine would start to labor at 60 mph ( remember, I only weigh 125). With the new bearings I can now cruse at 55-60 mph. The engine doesn't start to labor until 65 mph. I can cruse at 65 mph but she doesn't like it. One of these days I'm going to do a fully tucked in WOT. I think I can top 70 mph.

Wow! 70 mpg would be pretty amazing on a 125 motor. What size sprockets are you currently running? Victor
