Hodaka 250 rear brake shoes

Does anybody have a part number for rear brakes for a 250SL/ED?
The drum is 130mm. Typical and smaller Hodaka drums are 110mm.

For the front brake (250s again) I read somewhere on this forum that EBC 602 is the correct fitment. However, my latest search isn't retrieving that info today.

I have bought new shoes for the bike before -- but have had to radically buildup the brake cams to make them contact the drums. If not the cams can do full rotations without making contact. That's pretty dangerous!

Thanks guys, just for background when I ordered new brake shoes for a 94 Wombat restoration (rear 130mm/front 110mm)they fit and worked as they should.

However, the 250SL (130mm drums, conical front and full-width rear)was a later restoration by several years. I've bought brake shoes 2X for the 250SL and they fit undersized for the 250 drums (the drums are in spec). One time I also ordered a new brake cam to check and compare just in case that was the missing link in the equation. At any rate, building up the brake cams enables braking for some miles, until the friction material wears a bit. I think I shared the technique in an earlier post -- it works, but it's a little bit country.

According to part numbers, the 250s share the same rear brake shoes across the whole range of Hodakas. Through my experience I've been thinking the 250 shoes must be a different part, but evidently not. Crosschecking the fit by installing the new brakes for the 250 into my Wombat is one thing I haven't tried yet.

I've been committed to supporting the supporters by ordering all my Hodaka parts through SH and now H-P. I'll call Terry and see if there might be any possible manufacturing discrepancies or deficiencies (lining thicknesses?) with the shoes I've purchased thus far.

I know some of the guys in the U.K. that are on Trials Central have their old brake shoes re-lined up to the spec of their worn hubs. I don’t know if anyone does it here in the states but maybe an option.

Back in the '70s we all used to send our worn out brake shoes to Aljo's in NJ to be relined with waterproof linings. They were cheaper and better quality than OEM. Hard to find somebody who does it now.

I've heard of building up or wrapping the cam for purposes of increasing, above spec, the force exerted on the shoes for improved braking. Not for improving no brakes to not passable, but detectable brakes. Could there possibly be an issue with the cam rod? I'm not sure what the differences are between the models, but it might be a place to look.

I don’t know how to attach a link on this iPad thingy so here is a pic of a place that sounds like they might maybe be able to reline them. I might check with them for doing my ossa plonker front shoes.
