94 carb and manifold

I may be needing a Carb and manifold for a model 94. What can I expect to pay for used ones in good condition ?

Depends on where you purchase them. Friends & club members will give you a better price than say, eBay. I’ve seen asking prices go for more than what they sell, so if you go the eBay route, it never hurts to make a lower offer, as long as it’s not low enough to be an insult. I’ve purchased items from a few repeated sellers and if they know or I remind them that I’ve purchased several other items from them,, they tend to give me a better price. Also if the seller is another club member, tell them it’s you!

Are you looking for a 24mm carb or something larger? I may have a 24mm which I can pass on to you very reasonably, in part as a thank you to all your help in the past. I’m not sure, without digging, if I have an intake manifold but I’ll look. Probably won’t be able to get out there until later tomorrow. I have to drive an hour south to pick my mom up from the hospital & take here home. Will likely be spending the night with her as well. I’ll let you know tomorrow. But post to me and keep me reminddd do I don’t forget, with all I have going on. :ugeek: Victor

Thank you to both you guys. I'm going to look at a rough 94 this weekend. The owner was not sure if he had the carb or manifold. That was my reason for asking. There may be a lot more things missing. I just wanted to get an idea on $$$$

I’m still happy to help you. Lots of folks here have helped me, both with parts & sages advice! Even if you aren’t the Captain.

I’ll look tomorrow when I get home, for an intake manifold and let you know if I have one!

OK. I don’t have a 24mm carb. I have 3 extra 26mm. The kind for the Model 98/02 Road Toads and the Model O3 Wombat. But they are all slip mount and not flange mount.

I do have a 4 bolt Super Rat intake. Basically the same as a Model 94. And it is Flange mount. You are welcome to that if you want it. It was from the Super Rat I upgraded to reed valve.

You can buy a “flange to slip mount” adapter for a flange mount intake. If you want a 26mm carb, I can build it to Model 94 specs for you. It will have a slightly larger slide & needle but I can jet it for the Wombat. Let me know. :ugeek: Victor

I think I remember when Yamadaka (Bulfrog) first joined the group, he told us his choice of moniker was based on a history with Bultacos. Not expecting to cause confusion. I find most of the participants of this chat group to be "gentlemen and scholars"

I think you are correct. He didn't realize there was already someone registered with the group with a connection to the Bullfrog name which started in 1971.

I have that 93 manifold if you want it. Same size carb on the 93 & 94. So the intakes are the same, except for the numbers in them. :ugeek: Victor

Thanks, but I found a carb and manifold. I have a Bassani pipe but I think it might be to far gone. I don't do any welding so I have to figure out what route to go. Try and get someone to weld for me OR find a Wombat pipe in decent shape OR find a wombat pipe that is crappy with a good header and use that but I will still need someone to cut and weld :?:

Victor, Just FYI. The 94 manifold is a little longer than the 93 manifold, possible to clear the larger fins on the 94 cylinder. I have never tried to put a 93 manifold onto a 94 cylinder, so I don't know if there is any clearance problem or not. Just for your information.
