Name is Alex. I bought a 1966 Hodaka Ace 100 last year and I'm in the process of restoring it. It is in very good shape considering the age and being in storage for I don't know how many years. Its all there including the ignition key and tool kit. The gas tank has been shined up but when taking it out into the sunshine I can see all the tiny points of rust. So I guess its time for a re-chrome. I will also rebuild the engine. Wheels, exhaust, headlight and taillight are in really good shape. Same with the fenders, love that stainless steel!
I had a 1970 Super Rat when I was in the Airforce in New Jersey and used to race that in east coast scrambles along with a 1972 Penton 125. Back then they had both a 100 and a 125 class. I was sorry I had ever sold the Rat. Years later I bought a 125 Super Combat and raced that in MX but a collector offered me way too much money for it. Now I'm sorry I sold that one as well. So this Ace 100 is a keeper and my son will inherit it.
I'm retired but run an MSF dirt bike school in Wisconsin, Wisconsin Off Road Adventures. This past year was our busiest yet, 42 schools. People were tired of being cooped up inside and decided to get out and learn to ride a motorcycle. Interesting point, this is our 5th year straight that half the students are females of all ages, from 6 to 66 and learning to ride a motorcycle was in her bucket list. An FYI, I own 35 motorcycles from street to dirt, supermoto, roadracers, dual sport, trials, adventure bikes, and a fleet of loaners for the school.

Zowee! That is quite the resume' - both in the Hodaka-specific arena and in the general motorcycling world! We are happy to have you as a member of the club!
Sounds like you came up with a good little hundred to spiff up. Have fun!

Keep the rubber side down!

Welcome to the group. I trust that the Ace will put a smile on your face.
I believe that it would be a 1968 if it is a model 92 Ace 100. Frame and engine numbers will confirm.

Welcome aboard. Glad you found your way back to a Hodaka. Just one warning now that you have one in your garage. Keep a close eye on that Ace! They tend to multiply!!! I started out with an 03 Wombat with a mixed motor. But my garage looks like this now! Be careful and watchful!!!! Welcome again! Victor

A 1966 hodaka would be a ace 90, and it was made up into 1967. The ace 100 was during 1967 and into 1969?? -------------------- Clarence

Alex. Do you have the frame number for the bike. It’s stamped on the rear of the frame by the left shock mount. Either on a riveted metal tag, or directly onto the frame and it will start with the letter “A.” Post a picture of it for us! Victor
