Does anyone know what the recommended swing arm nut torque setting should be ? Not in my manual.
I’ve noticed that when I tighten the swingarm bolt nut using what feels enough torque, the swingarm bolt pinches the rubber bushes and the arm binds , becomes springy. Noted without shocks fitted. To get the arm to move with out binding required the nut to be only lightly torqued. Noting that it’s a self locking nut. I understand that as long as the nut stays on there is no danger of the bolt coming out. I’m thinking a Castleated nut might be a better onption.
