Hi guys-
I just bought a 69 Ace 100.I was wondering if I could put an 100B+ fender on the front. If so can someone please be so kind and let me know.Thank you in advance.I paid $1000 for this very clean unrestored 100.Was this a good price?
P.S. Ive alway been fascinated with Hodakas and finally I have one.

Re: 69 Ace 100 front fender
Congratulations on your "new" Hodaka! I'm not sure the steering fork bracket for a '69 ACE has the necessary drill holes to accomodate a "B+" style (raised) front fender, but others on the board will chime in, I'm sure. At minimum you would a fender stay/bracket (part #33 in the schematic below). Those fender stays are readily available on eBay for around $15 to $20. It's also likely someone on the board here might have an extra. As for the $1,000 price tag, it sounds like you did okay -- not a steal, but reasonable. If the bike has a title then you did even better, obviously. By the way we always love to see photos -- if you want to take a shot(s) of the bike and post here, that would be great. Congrats once again, and don't hesitate to ask questions. Although I don't qualify as one of them, there are lots of Hodaka experts here who are generous with their knowledge.

I doubt mounting is a problem; I have a high front fender (ala B+) mounted on my "100A" (yeah, technically there was no "A") - mounting lines right up like later ones. Brackets are readily available.
