The title says it all. I have four Hodakas. Three are dirt bikes. The fourth is a Ace 100B that has evolved into being a road bike. I never ride it in the dirt so I decided to make it into a pure road bike; street bars, low pipe, K-70 tires.
I replaced the original dirt bars with street bars from my parts stash. The old bars have a nine inch rise. The new bars have a six inch rise. With the new bars my cables are too long. I could shorten them but they are old and cracked. I would rather make new ones.

I need a kit to make cables
Re: I need a kit to make cables
You might try Barnett, the clutch and cable folks. I just looked at their catalog online and they still sell housing and inner cable and all the ferules and fittings. I made quite a few cables using their components in the '70s and 80s, Barnett parts were always very good quality.
Here's the catalog url.

Re: I need a kit to make cables
Something I'm in the market for. My "2 the Max" speed/roadracer project has clip-on bars. I have three new Hodaka cables that I was going to shorten. Something I've been avoiding, ha ha. Maybe it's time to consider custom cables or kits. Thanks for reminding me Larry! Max
Re: I need a kit to make cables
I checked out Barnett and couldn't find anything for the hobby guy.I went on Amazon and found two kits by Venhill. One for throttle cables(VKW003) for about $45 and another for clutch/brake cables (VWK002) four about $60. The kit has 15 ft of cable and casing and a variety of fittings. I'm going to order the VWK002 kit. I will post a review of the kit after it arrives.
