Banjo Bolt?

Post by toadroad88 »

Hey guys, did the oil pump delete on a model 02 road toad. Wondering if anyone knows the size / threads for the banjo bolt that goes into the intake? I want to blank that off as well. It’s part 993721 in the manual for reference. Thanks!

I believe it’s a 6mm or maybe a 5mm? I’d have to go check. :ugeek: Victor

I need a caliper to check these myself I know! Bike repair cost to get it decent: $300. Tool cost to repair bike. $300. Haha!

I need to track down that screw, and some plastic plugs for the holes where the grommets were and I’ll have most of the easy stuff done.

Get one of each next time you're by an Ace Hardware and you'll get change back from a quarter. The good thing about investing in good tools is that they'll last a lifetime and you'll use them again and again.

I pulled mine out and checked. It’s 6mm x 1.0 thread pitch and maybe 10mm long. :ugeek; Victor

P.S. And now I dropped it and will have to move 4 bikes just to find it and screw it back in! LOLOL!!!
