94 carb
took the carb off today for a look see and found when i put the main jet on the banjo bolt and tighten it up the hole in the banjo bolt disappeared is that normal or should an extra washer be put on to make the hole line up or am i over thinking for no reason.... albert

Yup, you are over-thinking the situation (and missing a detail). The banjo bolt body goes into a cavity which has a notably larger ID than the OD of the banjo bolt body. So there is room for fuel to "surround" the banjo bolt body and "find" a feed hole to get to the main jet. All is OK.

And it is also a good place to include in the detailed examination and cleaning of carburetors.

and aha dont forget to tighten the banjo bolt BEFORE you put the in fuel... dont ask how i know this.... albert
