I have 3 dip sticks. Which does the Combat Wombat take? The shorter or the longer? Thx! Victor

Never mind. I just pulled the one out of my Model 95 & compared. It’s the shorter one! Victor

Re: Dip Stick
If your CW has the correct clutch cover with the oil fill on the side of the cover, compared to on the top over the cover. You would use the short one.

Re: Dip Stick
Put in the proper amount of oil and the stick should read about full. Could be you have a galespie scooter dip stick. When in doubt check it out. Many of us have a drawer of dip sticks. --------Clarence
Re: Dip Stick
Well, both clutch covers have the dip stick hole in the same location. So I matched it up with one of the 3 I have extra. Seems to be correct.
Is there any known good way of cleaning the caps when they look stained? Victor

Yeah - an old tooth brush, full-strength Simple Green, water, and a year of your life. It will never look brand new, but they do clean up and will look nice on a rider.
