I'll give it a go. Single Dykes ring configuration suggests stock racing piston for a toaster tank Super Rat.

Are you measuring at the top of the piston? Check measurement at the bottom of the piston skirt. Piston is stamped 0.010" over-size - should measure very close to 50.25mm at bottom of skirt.
