Busiest (or longest retired) Members
As I have been working on the site, I was poking around and this tidbit of information presented itself. Either these folks are retired with a lot of free time, or they just spend an inordinate amount of time on the board! A big thanks, as these prolific posters are a big part of the reason the board is so helpful and chock full of useful information!

What? Third? On the podium but third is just one step from losing and two steps from winning. Not the position one would hope for but better than nought or DNF. OK, I have been a bit slack lately and Victor often has four posts on the same subject, probably just to run up the score. Ed is the technical guy and has to answer questions about fuel ratios and what to run in the crankcase. Ed has in the past has chided in, more than once, to save me in a jetting argument and does answer my difficult questions when I'm lost. Forever grateful Ed! I yield to these two great guys who keep things happening. I'll try to work harder and make up more stuff than the other two. Third ain't getting' it. Kiddin' of course, what a fun bunch to know! Hodakamax, Max, Maxie, Vernon, my middle name that I tell everyone is Very. Family joke. Thanks all for the laughs and info. Carry On. Honored to be third but will work on it. Maxie.

I like to let everyone answer before I give the correct answer. But I think there should be 3 points lost for bump responses. --------------I like to joke and Kid but not offend. Sincerely -----Clarence ------No trophy just fame, no win but in the game.

Clarence. A “Bump” is used to bring the subject back to the top of the list. When guys like you wait for 3 replies to give an answer, a bump means, “Come in guys, lets get with it here! This post is gonna get lost without an answer! Victor

pssst . . . and that's why there was the suggestion that a "bump" should be minus 3.

Pssst. The whole reason for posting a Bump, except in cases like this, it to obtain possible answers. It makes it difficult to read/answer/find a post when it goes beyond the first page. People don’t see it.
Hence, the ‘Bump’ is a way of reminding people it’s still an important question to the person asking & please don’t forget about it. It is not a method, (for me anyway) to increase post counts.
Post counts are not my reasons for posting here. I’m just a guy who got interested in Hodakas just 6 years ago and did not ever own one until then.
I also enjoy the friendliness & camaraderie of most of the discussions & was really looking forward to going to Hodaka Days 2020, and meeting a lot of the great people with whom I’ve had wonderful interactions with here. And bringing 5 restored bikes was a pleasure I was looking forward to as well. Here’s to nothing interfering with HD 2021! Victor
