Are the hodaka engines 2 stroke or 4. If 2 stroke whats the oil gas mixture.. Thanks
PS..
Im buying a set of 6 lug military rims like on this webpage to mount a set of 14:00 R 20 tires on. They are the 8 3/4 inch stud pattern.
Other than a rockwell type rear, What if any rear ends will work? I heard older fords n Internationals but Im having no luck.
Also, are there any companies that make adaptors like from the 6 lug 8 3/4 stud rim size to like a standard 5 lug ford 9 inch? Tnx a lot everyone

Re: Hodaka question??
Hodakas are all 2 stroke
Originally they were speced at 20:1, however, with modern oils, I believe most folks go with about 32:1 ratio.
I post this with great apprehension . . .

First. All Hodaka models are 2 strokes. Some later ones do have oil injection systems.
As for pre-mixed fuel? Ask 100 people and you will get up to 100 different opinions. Get a good quality modern oil designed to be premixed and mix it to the manufacturers recommendations. For me that is Yamalube 2R mixed at 32:1 with non-ethanol gas.

Re: Hodaka question??
The factory recommendation for the ace 90 was 16:1 for the first 500 miles and then 20:1 30w 2 cycle oil . Super Rat 16:1, 30 wt 2 cycle racing oil. 100B model 92A 16:1 for the first 500 miles, then 20:1 using 30w 2cycle oil. How much oil for 32 to 1, divide 128 by 32 = 4 ounces per gallon?? I would not mix richer than the 32:1, but with my much superior oil, I mix 40 or 50 to one. ----------------- Clarence
