I went to install the 91R trans into a 95 case and ran into an issue. The collar on the 91R kick gear is appx. 2mm taller. It causes the trans to bind when cases are tightened.
The solution appears to mill 2mm off the collar. Am I missing something?

Re: 91R Kick gear
I see several areas that are different. The whole kicker gear is larger.

Re: 91R Kick gear
I don't know the answer, but my old Ace Kick Gear seems machinable with carbide. I'd have thought it might be too hard to turn, but the Stock Ace one isn't. Looks like you can Mill it off with carbide endmill. Maybe high speed steel, not sure.
Only other thing I know is the racing transmission fit my Ace 100 without any trouble.
