New guy

Hi

New here. I've had a 125 Wombat sitting in the back of the garage for 30 years. Finally decided to make a runner out of it. I'm usually not quite this slow getting going... Too many other projects and hobbies.

It's mostly complete and not too banged up for an old dirt bike. Taking the engine apart first, replacing seals and gaskets. From there, we'll see.

Looking forward to getting to know a few other owners!

Wombat is a 1973 model 94. I haven't looked in to how to post pics here yet. How does it work?

My 10 year old grandson has helped with all 3 have a 03 wombat to work on next. I have a problem with getting side tracked . we go watch super bikes at BIR good way to spend the day....Albert

Well at 7,000 feet above sea level, it’s not the typical desert folks might think it should be. At 11:30 am today (Friday morning) it’s reached 39*F. My weather radar says 39, feels like 36! We still have some snow on the ground from Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. But it’s not -20! Warmer weather should start peaking its head out around the beginning of March. But it has snowed in town as late as May 19th! Victor
