After some struggles getting through the registration process [??] it appears as though I'm finally in the door. Just posting this to see if I've actually succeeded.
I'm refurbishing a '71 92B+ over the winter. Most of the hurdles are behind me- it's been on the road this Fall - but no doubt a few questions will come up. I have worked in the trade years ago and had an Ace 100 and a 93 Rat back when they were new. Nice to be back; more primitive than I remember, but also just as much fun.
Now, cross fingers and press 'submit'......

Welcome to the family, what part of the country are you from? Consider joining the Hodaka Club.
Re: New Member
I'm from Summerland, B.C. which is maybe 350 miles north of Athena, to put a Hodaka perspective on it. So I hope to make the annual pilgrimage to the holy site this summer. I've joined the club already. I don't have any pictures of my bike because I didn't get around to taking any when I got it running two months ago, and now it's rather dismantled. It's original parts, all there and dry stored, but needing the usual chain and cable type stuff. The speedo only showed about 2500 miles, but that must have been over logs and up cliffs.
The guy I got it from sold it to me because he had two the same. Of course he kept the prettier one...

Welcome Jpark, to the Hodaka World and Hodaka Club forum, you have come to the right place to ask questions, and get help with your restoration project. You mentioned you are in BC, we have a few customers whom live north of the border, whom I know can help with your project as well. If you can send to me via e-mail your contact info I will forward to other Hodaka people in your area and maybe a little group of Canadian Hodaka Club Members can get together and enjoy the world of Hodaka even more. send to [email protected], hodakapartsidaho.com Bruce Young. Awaiting your reply.
