Scored some Goodies!!!

I was checking out eBay. Bought a VM20 carb for $9.25, bought an Ace cylinder head for $15.00 & bought a VM28 flange mount carb for $25.00.

They all need to be cleaned up, but for the prices, I couldn’t pass them up! Victor

Just stuff to work on and have for back up! I figure I can put the VM28 on a reed valve assembly and put it on the 03 Wombat, maybe, or save it as a spare for the Combat Wombat. The VM20 will be a good spare for the Aces, and so would be the head! Victor

Always good to have spares when you need them. If you're persistent and patient you can score some real deals.

Yeah. I was in AZ all week. Saw a few things with really low prices and thought “why not?” I got a great VM28 that isn’t a flange mount. So it should work really nicely for an 03 Motor with reed valve!

The VM20 doesn’t have a carb slide, needle or top. But I have all of those in my carb parts box! So for $10 I got a spare VM20 I can rebuild nicely!

And I have that Ace motor that’s rusted shut with a .080 piston. If I can get that piston loose (I may have to break it up), I can get another cylinder and piston/rings and bottom end kit and build another Ace 100 motor! Victor
