My sincere apology for the site being offline without notice this morning. It had to do with an oversight of administration which has been rectified. We are taking steps to minimize such issues going forward.

Seppuku (Japanese: 切腹, "cutting [the] belly"), sometimes referred to as harakiri (/HĀ•rə•KĒ•rē/, though has been mispronounced as /HĀ•rē•KĀ•rē/ in the past) (腹切り, "abdomen/belly cutting", a native Japanese kun reading), is a form of Japanese ritual suicide by disembowelment. It was originally reserved for samurai (See Bushido), but was also practiced by other Japanese people later on to restore honor for themselves or for their families.

Don't be hard on yourself, Gary. I, for one, am guilty of not adequately demonstrating my appreciation for all the time and effort you dedicate to keeping the forum up and running. I intend to remedy that shortfall right now with a heartfelt thank you!
Don’t waste all that great Salad cutting your belly open! You’ve done an exceedingly fine job maintaining the forum! It’s a lot of work, I know. I managed one for nearly 7 years before letting it go. Our thanks are not often enough expressed! So THANK YOU for ALL you do!!!! Victor
