Chaparral Motorcycles

Post by rmitch002 »

Just curious if anyone knows of a website or forum dedicated to Chaparral motorcycles. I was told some of the Hodaka parts are interchangeable with the Chaparral bikes.

A more accurate statement would be that some of the Chapparal mini-bikes were produced with Hodaka engines.

. . . and no I don't know of a Chapparal web-site.

Uh-oh. Did I step in it?

I thought some of the Chaparral models had Hodaka engines . . . and some had Fuji engines. Am I wrong about that?

And NO, there are no Hodaka parts interchangeable into the Fuji engines.

Oooopsie. So, going back to the first question in the thread. Those who told you that some Hodaka parts are useful in repairing Chaparral minibikes were mistaken. There is no interchangeability of parts between the Hodaka and Fuji engines.

Parts will not interchange, but you can slot in a Hodaka motor as a whole unit.
