First time on a motorcycle

Post by mac »

Today was my daughters first time riding a motorcycle. I made a throttle stop to keep it safe which allowed me to walk next to her at first to help with the clutch for taking off. She did not shift but did really good learning to take off without killing it and remembering to pull it in for stopping. She has wanted to do it for a long time but my smarter better half was strongly against it when she was younger.
I had promised her that I would build her a bike to teach her to ride on someday and today was that day. A truly great day indeed !! Hopefully more lessons this year with some proper gear.

My 2 older kids ride and 2 of my grandkids ride. We've had a variety of machines depending on skill level. TRX 70 Honda, a couple of ttr 90s, ttr 125, DS 80 ( suz). No better day than a family BBQ and the kids tearing up the back yard riding. The stories they get to tell their friends.

It does have a small trials type seat which works pretty well.
