1968 Ace

I just picked up a 68 Ace, I bought it because I could see the four bolt intake , figured it at least had a Rat barrel and head. I was pleased to find serial # F1496. Does anyone know what year were the F engines produced ? Frame is A22676 . Thanks K.C.

Congrats on your find. Could the motor be an "E" engine with the bottom part of the letter not visible?

I painted one yellow once and I don't know why, is your frame been lengthened up front. I also have a F engine. Clarence

Yes the frame has been extended. Someone welded a new steering neck, onto the original one. Clarence what serial # is your F engine ? K.C.
