Mikuni jet question
Reporting from the "day late and a dollar short" department, I've noticed (after 40+ years) a subtle (not really) difference in Mikuni jets. Some have an "R" designation after the flow rate which I assume means for round slide carburetor application. Furthermore, some have a flat face opposite the threaded end while others have a slight, dished-out concavity. Soooo...is there a functional difference in Mikuni jets based on the aforementioned variables or is a 340-jet-is-a-340-jet-is-a-340 jet regardless of "R"s and face contours? Thanks guys.

In my mind the 340 is for the diameter of the hole, shouldn't matter what the shape of what the hole is in is, round, square, flat, concave.
