Hodaka Days parking

Post by RichardMott »

Hi all,

Well the days are counting down to the big event. My bikes are about ready and I am making my final preparations for the long trek across the US from King of Prussia, PA to Athena Oregon. I will probably arrive on the 25th. I was hopping to park in the lot by the bridge where I parked in 2008. Are these spots reserved or is it first come first serve? Looking forward to the Bad Rock and trials. I will have a spare bike to ride if someone needs it for the parade or the Bad Rock.

Rick,
It is first come, I will be in the 24 or 25 myself. I hope Earl will be there so I can put my bikes
with his.
See you there.

Hey Jack,

I have a 10 X 10 sun shade and a 5 X 8 trailer plus my AstroVan. Hope there will be room for me when I get there. I plan on sleeping in my trailer.
What line are you riding this year?

I will ride the INT class, I have only rode one event this year and will not get any time on the bike
before Hodaka Days. I have taken up trap shooting and that seems to take up most of my time now.
see you there.

Jack,

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the INT class? I have not ridden at all this year accept for a fun gate trials on New Years Day with my club. That's it. My Spyder is running well. I was going to ride the 3 line, just up from beginner.

Someone please do a video of Rick's Hodaka Days trials expertise. We need something to study (entertain us) at the Super Secret Hodaka Research and Meditation Center. We need a break from the research and meditation.

I was just reviewing my 2008 trials riding video at Hodaka Days. It was before I lengthened my swing arm 2 inches( courtesy of Mike). Wheelies galore. Mike is right though. Get those videos. I need an updated YouTube video. 15,000 hits at last count.
I hope to not embarrass myself too much this year. The bike is up to the task. I hope I am. I am a bit rusty. :|
