I am going to try and cover each model and changes. The ace 90 prototype or specifications were approved late in the year with the design finalized in December 1963. I believe production began in March of 1964 and the first shipment arrived to the US in June 1964. The ace 90 first came with several Yamaguchi parts including the front end. With the changes made to frame number A 0233, it was then all Hodaka. The change out with all the changes including a sealed beam headlight, inspired a flyer that called it the ACE 90 NEW MK ||. Two different owners manuals were listed for the ace 90 the first part number 909510. The second big change for the ace 90 was frame number A 6533. Big changes were the higher handlebars, big back fender, headlight body, big taillight and a new swingarm all part numbers were followed by a C new owners hand book 909510C. Some of my data shows the ending serial number A 17384 and other list it a A 17380 I will stick with A 17380 Any errors please let me know. Thank you Clarence for taking on this project, to help with your efforts, I would like to help you by first letting the people whom are interested in the ACE 90 life from its beginning to its change into the ACE 100 years, I wish it noted that on my web site HodakapartsIDAHO.com I have listed the complete Hodaka Modification charts from ACE 90 on, very easy to follow along with your experiences and content, I also have two ACE 90 schematics charts one for the what I call Ace 90 A the first few changes and the other for the Ace 90 B schematic to show the part numbers and viewing of some of the upgrades, as shown in the modification charts, I also have a couple of diff Ace 100 early schematics shown also, there where many changes made to these two machines in the early years, I will also post some pictures of Early Ace 90 with all the Yamaguchi and Fuji stuff on these early machines before the bikes as we know them today. Little changes came with each load thru the first few years of production. Keep up the great work to help the Hodaka World understand where it all began. There also needs to be info listed of a few early Hodaka historians whom helped preserve the info. Their name,s will be acknowledged on our site as well. Bruce Young
