Hodaka Books!!

They have arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has been a long hard journey but the Hodaka Books written by Ken Smith have arrived and have been safely tucked away until they are released at the Hodaka Days world premier book signing party. Ken will put on his best tee shirt and be in attendance all the way from Sydney. Also coming to attend this years event is John McClean all the way from Oz also. See you all there..

Great news Paul! My wife found out about the book when she was looking at the Hodaka Days program and said "you should buy a copy of the Hodaka book". Yes dear... I told her I already had a copy on order.

I'm really looking forward to the book and I plan on reading it even when I'm not in the bathroom!

Thank you Brian!! Both Ken and I are so so excited about this Hodaka Book. It has taken many many years of talking,dreaming,travel,interviews etc.. to make it happen. It would not have happened without Ken's great talents and love for the brand and the help of all the PABATCO folks. We (myself included) learned so much as we were on a full court push to finish the book last fall. I wrote in my column for the Resonator that this book will be the Hodaka "bible" for generations to come. This is true as the information uncovered will now set the bar for any articles or mention of Hodaka motorcycles now and into the future. Hey when Ed, Chuck, Marv, Theta, Jim, Curt etc.. tell me that they did not know some of this information let's everyone know this is the real deal. The books have landed and are locked up and ready to be served out to all who have previously ordered them or are going to.
The photos are of one of the most beautiful ladies in my life ( Patty Taylor) along with a handsome young Luc Ewer inspecting the newly arrived Hodaka Books. The next photo is of Mr. Luc Ewer getting ready to proof read the newly arrived "Collectors Edition" Hodaka Books. I have yet to hold a copy in my hand as has Ken or Ed but soon enough we will. We did order extra's so we should have enough so not to run out at Hodaka Days we hope.
I spoke to Ken last evening and the plan is still on track to have him there to sign the books in Athena at the World Book release party on Friday.
See you there Brian and thank you and your wife for coming all this way. It will be great having you there!! See everyone very very soon as my trailer is already starting to get loaded for the 3000 mile trip.

It is a HUGE relief and a great feeling Dale! Working with the PABATCO folks/Ken was a dream come true. The only feeling of sorrow is that we did not finish it in time for Harry to read it. He knows though!!!!!
Cannot wait to see you soon Dale. I am getting things loaded to get on the road soon.
