What kind of Shock???

I’m sure this has been asked before, but, what kind of shocks are these? And are they still available? Victor

M97/98 "Supers" (Combat and Rat). Great Shocks. I have a set on a Combat Wombat. The "fins" on the bottom are for cooling ala cylinder and head fins. Clever.

You'll like them. They are a little stiffer than the M95 stock shocks in my opinion, but I beat the crap out of them. With the reinforced swinging arm and frame on my CW set up for MX, those shocks can really take a pounding. Try em, you'll like em!

Those shocks are re-buildable. As long as the shafts and bodies are in good shape they can be re-built. I'm not sure where to get the seals, but other than that, it is a rather straight-forward re-build.

Interesting. Thanks. But it would still require my having another set to rebuild. The shocks on my CW are fine. But I really like the way those 97/98 shocks feel on the ‘03 frame! Victor
