Case Splitters

I made a Marv Foster? inspired tool for splitting the cases. It worked very well on the north end of the cases. Not so much on the south end. (A lot of prying and pounding was involved).

Dale Dvorac posted his tool for splitting the south end of the cases. Genius!

Between the two tools, It's just a matter of walking the cases apart.

Marv's? tool - 2 pieces each 1/2 inch of 1/2 x 1/2 angle. 1 1/4 inch of 1/4 black iron pipe - 1 1/4 inch allthread. 1 nut.

Dale's tool - 3 inches of allthread 2 nuts.

I made Marv's splitter for a 95.If you are working on a 90-92-93 it's 1/4" to long.I found that out today when I split the cases on a Ace 100.

C’mon guys, send me pictures and short explanations of what your tool is for and how to make it. I really want to do a special section in the resonator Revisited on these very cool tools!
Email it to me [email protected].

OK, last chance to give me some good info on your home-brew tools. If I don't get anything additional, I'll try to cobble together an article copying stuff from these postings, but it would be better with your contributions!
