Almost done. Found a nice tank that will be here later this week. Also need to paint the air box and put the dencals on it. Couldn’t find new decals so I had a local auto graphics shop make them for me.

100% done now.
The Super Rat decal I had made was a little tricky. It came in two parts, the black part and the yellow part. Put the black down then very carefully put the yellow over that. I used a base coat/ clear coat on the air box. I put the base coat on, one coat of clear, sanded with 1500 grit, installed the decals then two coats of clear. Turned out pretty decent.
I had some trouble getting it to run right, way too rich. It would flood out and die. Couldn’t figure it out. A friend had a spare correct carb so I got it, cleaned it up, new float meddle & seat, jets and gasket. Now it runs great.
Time to start hunting for the next project. I’d really like to find a Harley-Davidson Sprint.
