#1 front fender has "made in Japan" stamped on it. Does that point to front or rear of bike? #2 stem bearings...how many top and bottom and placement? Big on top or? Thanks!

Made in Japan to the back.
Big bearings on bottom. 23 bottom, 25 top
Look at the parts diagram at Hodaka parts, inc it will give you the number for your model.
