I'm sure this has been hashed before but can't locate the link. Model 92 forks to model 96. Any issues. Thx.

Re: forks
Not unless your talking about a 92B, this is when they started using the internal spring type fork.
Re: forks
Any of the 30mm internal spring forks (with removable damper rods - the ones with a allen screw in the bottom of the lower fork tubes), will work. That includes the Ace 100 B+ and late production chrome tank Super Rat forks, the chrome tank Wombat and Combat Wombat forks, the Super Combat and painted tank Super Rat forks and later bikes with 30mm forks.

Re: forks
Another easy way to see is the forks with the big top nut are not as rebuild able, and as dirty rat say,s look for allen screw in bottom and a small top nut. much better forks and a lot more serviceable and rebuild able, but make sure they are 30mm as well. Bruce
If you are a club member you can go to look up fork info in the resonator section of the Hodaka Club site. One more reason the for the $24.00 year, well worth it you can become a member and get a lot of info there. If you are not already a club Member. Putting the #92 forks on a #96 you are stepping backwards. Will fit but will not work as well. And, if you want to see more info go to Hodaka-parts inc and see the fork rebuilding video presented by Kelley McKerrnan. Good thing to use for more tech info
